Crockpot Brisket with Apricots
15 mins prepServes 8
A cozy fall meal and a family favorite, this brisket is slow-cooked with dried apricots, onion soup mix, currant jelly, brown sugar, ketchup, and burgundy or rose wine until fork tender. Perfect served over egg noodles with roasted carrots.
In a crockpot place your meat; sprinkle with salt & pepper. Cut your dried apricots in half, placing them on top of the meat. In a bowl, whisk together the remainder of the ingredients; pour over the brisket. Leave in slow cooker for 8 hours on low or until it’s fork tender. Serve over egg noodles, along side some roasted carrots.
